Reporting for the recently concluded WordCamp Philippines 2009 last Saturday o>
I totally failed at giving the heads up about this early on in the blog, unlike last year. It was already too late by the time I realized I wasn’t able to inform hazy and Zeroblade about this, the two blogger friends I went with last year OTL

September 6 will forever be remembered as the day the 1st ever WordCamp Philippines was held (to all those who attended it, that is). Needless to say, and it was awesome! Fun and insightful, and I got to spend it with fellow anime bloggers hazy and Zeroblade too. I’m pretty slow so both of them have already given their respective reports on the event, while mine is days late orz.

I seem to have been living under a rock for not having known about the ongoing registration for WordCamp Philippines 2008, which started last week! Hope I can still make it in time for the 350 participants cut-off with this registration!

Just a random plug to get this news around.
To all my fellow countrymen, [current and future] Wordpress bloggers and enthusiasts, I bring you good news of great joy! WordCamp is coming to the Philippines!! To those who don’t know what WordCamp is, it’s basically a Wordpress conference, organized by fellow Wordpress enthusiasts, for fellow enthusiasts, where you’ll get to learn tips and best practices on Wordpress development and/or blogging.
We owe a big thanks to the organizers of this event, a group of Mindanao bloggers who were also behind the success of the 1st Mindanao Blogging Summit held last year in Seleria’s hometown (Davao), for bringing WordCamp here ^^
